Here are some questions that I have been asked in my years of coaching. If you do have further questions, please do email me at Diane@thegoodgriefcoachiom.com or schedule a call.
Is the time frame of the different courses you provide fixed?
For the most part, yes as mentioned in your elected package. The rest depends on two things from you. How much you wish to invest in yourself and your time available. I have had clients enrol in my programmes and under certain circumstances we have amended the time frame of completion for various reasons such as booked holidays and hospital emergencies. Hair dressing appointments do not count and will be a lost session!
Of course, the online version of my courses gives you more of the freedom to do the work at your own pace.
How long are the sessions?
My sessions are guided for between 60 and 90 minutes. This is something I introduced years ago when clients were coming to a breakthrough. I would have to stop and ask if they wished to continue, as their session was about to end. I did not like doing that at all and so I introduced packages. This way if a client is going through a breakthrough, we have allowed that extra time.
People like to talk. I am their safe space to do just that. Some people have never experienced that in their life and so other conversations connected to their visit may arrive. They have the space to talk, and I listen.
How long would I need to work with you?
Great question! If you are unsure, then do book your free call with me. In this call we can address your loss that has brought you to me, and you can then decide which one of the programmes works best for you.
All my programmes can be worked around you and your needs. For example, if you picked the basic grief programme online and in completing that, discovered that you would want more support, then the ‘bolt on’ programme will work well for you. All you would have to do is book a call with me where we can chat through your needs.
Making such an investment feels scary.
This question allows me to know that you want my support and hold a fear of investing that amount in yourself. That can indeed feel scary, as it once did for me.
To have invested the tens of thousands of pounds in myself for my trainings over the years and specialised coaching. This discomfort was my breakthrough to know that I am worth the investment in me, my want to help others to the best of my ability and continue my own personal development. I still work with coaches today.
Clients who have discovered and worked with me have also discovered the freedom that comes with “letting go” through understanding grief and feel prepared for future losses, because of the knowledge that they have gained. Are you prepared?
Think of comparisons.
A family holiday that lasts a week, or a 4-to-6-month programme that gives you tools for life and heals your heart from the pain of your losses.
If the question comes down to you not valuing yourself, your health and your well-being then this is not the programme for you. If you do but still have those stomach flips, then we can talk about and work on that too! You matter!
Remember that this help that you will not find at your doctors, from friends (as they tend to tell you what you want to hear) or family (who may have their own reasons for the advice that they give you).
How do the instalments work?
You decide how much of the total amount that you wish to put down as a deposit, and the rest can be divided between the months remaining. My only stipulation is that the last payment is made before the last month of working together.
I know that things do happen in this life of ours and I can be flexible to a point. I have delayed the last few months for someone to give them room to deal with their issue and gather up the funds for the remaining time on the course. Of course, with homework to do in the space in between. This only applies to the two larger packages.
Do not forget the discount on offer for full payment before you start of £300 off each package. I have had someone seek finance for that offer to save that £300. There are always options, especially if you are determined to make a difference and invest in yourself, be that this course or any other you do.
This offer of instalments is not available to corporate clients.
What if I want to continue coaching with you?
If you wish to continue working with me, that is no problem. We can have a conversation at the end of your package or schedule a call if some time has elapsed since we worked together. I have provided a special ‘bolt on’ programme for this very service.
Can I just invest in the coaching with you?
Yes, this can be arranged. It might be that you would like to get the feel of coaching before you engage into the bigger packages or issue of grief.
We of course can explore together any issue you feel you would like to work on.
This is about empowering you, with tools for life.
